All alone at the Meat Market

Summer is especially slow this year. I seem to spend much of my time hooking on my own at the Meat Market. Of course there are others who walk in from time to time and I frequently have company, but still it feels lonely.

Street Whores Summer Party

We had a summer party down at Street Whores this sunday. It had been a while since the last monthly party. (You could say that they haven't been as 'monthly'the past few months)

It was great fun, not only did I find a tool that enabled Whotter to dance along with the 'big avatars', a thing I have been wanting for years, but also did my friend STephanie show up again. She had been away for weeks now. A week ago or so I had already understood that she was very busy with her company in RL, so I wasn't too worried anymore, but it was good to see her in-world again.

There were prizes for the three girls that were best in theme. The black girl that is left of Whotter in the photo (I forgot her name, it was too long and complicated for me) won first prize. There's a sort of policy that the managers of the area and previous winners aren't always eligible for the competition. It makes it more fun for the newcomers.

At the end, one of the girls decided to leave the scene by helicopter, which was kind of weird, but that's what SL is for, right?

The August slump

August is once again a slow month for us hookers. I was debating it the other day with my colleagues Meli, Elvira and the girl who's now hiding in the picture behind Elvira. Men are on vacation, with their families. All we can hope for is that they will soon return extra horny, due to lack of privacy thanks to the kids in their hotel room, or the wife (or them) not daring to have sex in the tent.

I still have my fair share of clients and Elvira's nickname is 'The vacuum cleaner' still, but it is hard work at the moment.

Whotter's new room

I helped my son Whotter to redecorate the downstairs area that is now his room. I got him a nice seashell and a bunch of sand. He seemed very happy with it, immediately making use of the bath to frolick around in.

It didn't take long before he was angry with me though. While I was still busy on the room, a fellow blogger contacted me and I asked him if he would like to sea the new seashell bath that I had just bought for my son.The water was nice and warm and since it was inside he wouldn't have to bring his swimtrunks.

I thought that this was safe, as Whotter had left the room, but when I heard some growling sound I realised that he had just been looking at us from a small distance. now I fear he will try to take revenge on me for 'polluting' his new bath.
