A wake for Condorina
At thursday 29 March 2018 we held a wake for our friend Condorina, who had died on March 11th of this month. It was a big dance, where many of the old, but also new girls of the community showed up. A long-time club-owner at the Wirtz region in Second Life, Condorina would have liked the party.
The party became a late one, with both our usual DJ's Rach and Suzi looking up music they like and that Condi would have liked. A couple of girls danced on until after closing time.

In memoriam: Condorina
I received a notice in-world, written by Rachael. She informed us, friends, colleagues, that Condorina had died. She had received the news through Condi's RL family, who had also updated her profile with it.
Condorina had been a long-time member of our community. She was one of the officers in the little town Street Whores from about the time that I joined and though I didn't see her often anymore lately, I remember her very well...
Condorina was featured in a 2011 article on the Kama & Friends Travelogue blog in an article on our little town and sex work in Second Life in general. She was a manager at Street Whores from the early days onwards and she had her own art gallery in another region. I actually had one of her artworks hanging in my Second Life house for a number of years.
In the end, Condorina died in RL on sunday, march 11, from a lung disease she had lived with for quite a long time.
For about a year, she ran Club Radiance in our town, which offered a good party venue and a place for the girls to dance for tips. Though it was popular in the area, it closed in the autumn of 2014. As you can see, Condi was an active member of our community. Unfortunately, RL gets us all in the end. Rest in peace, Condorina.

Peppermint Girl
Natalie (nataliegem) has a gallery named Peppermint Girls. I did a photoshoot for her in the past, but not one for the Peppermint Girls yet. She asked me for it this week. Naturally I said yes, she has a stylish collection that now consists of photos of 22 girls in Second Life. I am number 22!
You can see the Peppermint Girls inworld at: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Arginutti/51/145/41

Whotter found a mermaid
Whotter found a mermaid in the fountain. I just heard him shout: "Fish! Fish!", getting way too excited. He even forgot about the monkeys that he hates so much for chasing him out of the square's fountain.
I had to explain him that this fish was not for him. He didn't like that. He staid around the mermaid for a while, trying to communicate with her, but she didn't pay much attention to him. In the end, Whotter walked back to me, looking rather disappointed.
