Whotter found a mermaid

Whotter found a mermaid in the fountain. I just heard him shout: "Fish! Fish!", getting way too excited. He even forgot about the monkeys that he hates so much for chasing him out of the square's fountain.

I had to explain him that this fish was not for him. He didn't like that. He staid around the mermaid for a while, trying to communicate with her, but she didn't pay much attention to him. In the end, Whotter walked back to me, looking rather disappointed.

Monkeys in the fountain

Suzi made a first sketch of the redesign of the square, but of course it has been standing unattended for for a number of days. That's when the monkeys get in. In the fountain that is.

 

They seem to like it a lot and no one seems to manage to chase them out of it. Not that anyone tries, the square stands abandoned by the hookers who now use another street to pick up their clients.

Whotter doesn't like the monkeys of course. They are not allowing him in the fountain, depriving him of the only (more or less) decent swimming possibility in town. No catching fish either. He will have to get that from Stephanie's fish cart.

Fishing in the fountain

Whotter needed a bath, so I told him the fountain at the square would work just fine for him. There are even fish in it...

That should be ideal, right? He could catch his own fish and puddle around in the meantime, becoming a clean little otter.

Of course that didn't work. Well the bathing part did, but Whotter is so being used to Stephanie feeding him and rummaging around in trashcans that he forgot how to catch fish himself.
So yeah, that's where mommy gets to work again. Well... given the recent slump in escorting at least I got the babyfood cheap this way!
