Where are Whotter and Fox?

tsai cheng

While I start my day on the street, the chilly morning breeze still giving me goosebumps, I wonder where Whotter and Fox are. I did hear them this morning, very early, making a lot of rackid before they left the house. They must have skipped breakfast, since all the plates were still empty when I came down from the bedroom. They probably ate something from a trashcan on their way into town.
Now I am out here in the street, at the colonnades, hoping they manage to stay out of trouble. I don't want to get into a fight with Street Whores' owners because they have been harassing punters. Or worse: turning half the traschcans over.

On the streets with Whotter and Fox

The other day when I opened my front door, I saw a fox sleeping underneath the staircase. I realised quickly that this was my son's best friend, so I called Whotter. The little fellow stumbled down the stairs, with this guilty look about him.

Try it, it is kind of hard to explain a wild animal that he is not supposed to move in. The animal may not understand that the place he is now living in is actually your house, not his. So, this is how it came to pass that I am now having a fox in my apartment. He simply decided to stay. Whotter loves that of course. Now I have two little guys following me around as I try to do my work on the streets of Second Life.

That is, if I don't count the siamese kitten, who is generally happy to stay at home, on the couch.

The ruins at Wirtz region

At Street Whores - Town Square in the Wirtz region we have a couple of ruins. If you walk down the road from the square you will find them. Usually it's quiet here. That is probably why a red fox chose it as it's home.

From the looks of it they are just some abandoned houses. No one bothered to look after them and now they've actually fallen apart. While I patiently wait for customers at one side of the wall, you will find the shy fox at the other side, playing with Whotter, who has found a new friend in the red critter.
Nearby stands an abandoned car, by the looks of it it should be ideal for tyre kickers...

Whotter plays with a fox and a pony

Tsai Cheng - Second life

I had a little walk to a part of town where it is especially messy. There is rubbish all over the place there and no one ever bothers to clean it up. Cars, car parts, all kinds of scrap metal amidst abandoned houses. I won't be surprised if there are some bodies lying around in the place.

I went there because it is one of Whotter's regular hangouts. He likes to go there and eat stuff, play with whatever he finds lying about. When I arrived I saw he had discovered a fox. They were playing. It was just too cute, so I spied on him from behind a wall.

Whotter, Rachael and Pony

Then I noticed Rachael and her friend Pony walk in. Whotter thought Pony very interesting, apparently. He immediately walked towards her. Maybe the manes did it, or her large ponytail.
He followed Pony around for a while, basically until she was tired of the little bugger and walked off. Then Whotter went back to look for the fox.

It had left as well.
