A dance to remember Rachael

Today marks a year since Rachael Ezvalt, my old friend at Street Whores, passed away. We had a little dance last night to commemorate her. At her Memorial Garden at X-Sisters.

Winter, her partner, came too. She always had beautifully crafted avatars. This time she was a blue dragon, a new shape for us. We looked a bit through the messages left over the past year and made ourselves ready for the dance. Most friends walked in soon after us.

DJ Zach played the set, mostly consisting of songs that Rachael once played herself as DJ or requested. He also included some from her SoundCloud. Some of us wondered who would count the fish in the fishtank, a job Rachael would have reserved for the new trainees at X-Sisters... Whotter volunteered, but we told him he would not be allowed to count fish.

And of course, the boxbot heads returned once again...

Rachael Ezvalt

Today I received sad news: Rachael Ezvalt, whom I have known for many years. Possibly back from 2010 when I first walked the streets at Street Whores, is no longer with us.
Rachael had not logged in for the past 3 weeks and her Second Life partner, Ayesha, yesterday got confirmation that she had passed away, little over a week ago. Jess, her friend at co-worker at X-Sisters mentioned this in her blog.

Rachael was a force of nature and everyone who met her probably remembers her: not just because of her avatar, but also because of the way she communicated. Her humour and her practical jokes were always around.

Rachael Ezvalt invented the Box Whores

Rachael one day told us all to wear boxes over our heads and thus the 'Box Whores' were born...

I am a bit at a loss for words, so I will just try to embed a song from her SoundCloud. Rachael loved to DJ and her techno was well-known whereever she went. Everytime there is a party I still request 'Little Fish', by Leftfield, a song I know thanks to her, for my son Whotter.

And then suddenly Playtime got busy

I had a chat with Rachael, who as you may remember, is one of the owners at Street Whores. Playtime has not been in use much lately and I told her I considered letting go of it. Since the shop next to the window brothel is empty, that would leave quite a gap in the shopping area known as 'The Meatmarket'.

And then suddenly Playtime got busy

Rachael was so kind to send out a notice. She was out in the streets with Bojana and both of them went to sit in the windows at my little window brothel. I followed them and soon two other girls joined in.
Of course, we were followed by Whotter, who went into one of the rooms and started to jump on the bed. You can't have everything go smoothly...

Urban regeneration in the Wirtz region

Urban regeneration in the Wirtz region

We are not sure Suzi will like it, but yesterday the incomplete mall was sent up into the sky 200m and Rachael put a bunch of tiles back in place to make the old square a square again. Whotter felt like he contributed a lot, with his hard hat on...

Urban regeneration in the Wirtz region

The mall had been standing incomplete ever since it was started last November and not a single shop had found it's way into it. Meanwhile the other shops, as I discovered, living above them, suffered. The new teleport routing and the loss of the square as a central space, reduced their number of visitors dramatically. This could be seen also by some of the girls renting a shop space to live in or to make a dancing/club space in.
Last night we just hoped Suzi would take this sudden change well. As far as I know she hasn't been in-world yet, so we are still waiting for a reaction. Meanwhile I proposed Rachael that she can blame Whotter for the 'damage'.

The worst part of town

A few days ago I saw a notice in the Street Whores group that a new house was available for rent. It was advertised as being 'in the worst part of town'. A selling point were the noisy neighbours, Misty and Anya and the crack house across the street. I decided to go for a look and concluded it was indeed worse than the corner of the square where I live, but not better or worse than most areas in our little community.

the worst part of town
Then I just wandered around until I noticed that Bojana was at home. She came outside to sit in front of her house and we had an extended chat.

Bojana Kozlov

Bojana has a reputation for being extremely kinky. And it's not just the looks of her house's window that shows this. She naturally believes that the alley she lives in is the worst part of town as well...

The worst part of town

Her claim can be called valid as well: there is a rat walking around, the area is infested with cockroaches and next door to Bojana lives Rachael. It doesn't get any worse, does it?

Rachael dropped by and she supported Bojana's claim. I suppose they might be right. But I may find a worse spot next time...

Penguin throwing street whores

If you can think of it, you can find it in Second Life. Well.. not really, but you can find lots of things, things weirder than you would have ever imagined.

One morning, a typical morning at the square in which nothing special happened and all the rich men had once again lost their wallets, such a morning. You get it, on this fine morning I had a chat with Rachael and a couple of the other girls. While I was busy staring at the teleport point, I suddenly saw something fly by: a penguin.
Since penguins don't fly by themselves, this got me curious. Another penguin followed before I found out it was Rachael, standing behind me, who was slinging them away.. one by one. I asked her about the peculiarities of this sport and she explained. Soon I was busy as well, slinging penguins in the direction of the teleport routing point. There were no men coming in anyways.

A penguin can fly about 12 to 15 metres, if you throw them hard enough.

Dancing to Rachael's tunes

Yesterday Rachael took out her DJ kit once again. (she does this regularly, as you've probably read in my other blogposts) She also took out the wall from the pub, to make it more accessible and create us a nice spot to dance.

While I never manage to pick up a single client during these dances, they are fun to be at. It helps to relax and let the mind wander away from the waiting, the 'hello-ing' incoming punters and whores and the men who like to grope my breasts in the street.
She started out with a bunch of songs, then switched to trance, which I really like lately, as it's abstract and nice to dance to.

Next time, come have a party with me!

Street whores at sea

Rachael asked me if I wanted to join in for a sail at her yacht yesterday. "She must be rich," I thought, "to have a yacht." But instead of wondering how many clients you need to afford a thing like that, I decided to just go along. The idea is that we would set out from Nantucket Yacht Club, at the edge of Blake Sea, and then sail west. There we would pick up Misty and Anya, who were still shopping.

I never saw Misty since I got a visitor in real life and had to jump overboard, but after a shot stopover we did catch up with Anya, who found herself a place on top of the cabin. We sailed on, around the west coast of Nautilus Island and were planning to go to Anya's place.
From what I heard they arrived there, just in time to service the local football team, that was just celebrating a big win. Meanwhile I was already stuck at home with my visitor and a cup of tea. Can't have it all, not at once...

Rachael Ezvalt

Rachael is one of the owners at Street Whores - Town  Square. She's quite the active person too. Apart from being a whore that takes great pride in her voluptuous top, she's also a fun DJ who regularly makes the street a less safe, but much more lively place when she's spinning her tunes.

Rachael Ezvalt

There's more to her though than just her love for random, well-paying members of the opposite sex. Rach, as I typically greet her, is a strict manager of the place when needed. She'll be equally tough on men and women who think they can get away with breaking the rules. I know that: she's banned a couple of my regulars, who have been IM'ing me forever since, asking me to plead their cases with her. I always tell them they should have been nicer to Rachael in the first place.
