Whotter wrote a novel

Whotter wrote a novel

Whotter appeared in a tweed suit last week, glasses on his snout. It was obvious that he had been up to something. So all of us took a break from reading the papers and waiting on the morning clients to see what mischief he was into now.

He went to Fiver and handed her some text. Apparently he knew that Fiver, printing the local newspaper at Street Whores, would be able to publish something for him. So he gave her the manuscript to his... novel?!

All the visits to the Second Life Bookclub must have inspired him. I was a bit surprised to find out that my son had now joined the ranks of Second Life's intellectual elite, but soon enough I realised that he had just thrown his entire vocabulary at it: all 7 words he knows.

The novel's title is 'Fish' of course and I was the first one to receive a copy signed by the author. That made me a proud mother again. Now I just hope that he won't be invited as a guest at the Book Club and embarasses me.

Graffiti on the doors

"We're going to spray paint Elvi's door," Stephanie said. That seemed like a good idea, so soon we were standing in front of her house. Elvira was inside, but clearly AFK (away from keyboard that is...). Soon enough the word 'fish' appeared on her door. Well... look around at the garbage in the street, it often smells a bit like fish here.

Then we proceeded with Mel's door. We wondered if she'd get grumpy at us making graffiti on her door, or if she would not even notice it.
Whotter appeared. We weren't sure if he could actually read a most inspiring word on Mel's door, or if our presence and an empty stomach led him to us. But he did say the word:

"Fish!"

Whotter and his toy plane

Whotter and his toy plane

Whotter got this toy plane a few weeks ago and he has been busy playing with it. Mostly he just runs around wearing the box-shaped plane, making lots of noise. Occasionally he bumps into one of my colleauges or some punter that fell asleep in the street.

Today also. I was glad that he took his noisy new game somewhere else for a while when Bo was so unwise to say the words 'fish and chips' in her conversation with a French girl.
He wasn't flying, but Whotter surely ran like he was. Within a few seconds he had appeared in fron of her, begging for fish. It took me a while to convince him that he would not get anything for a while, since he had just finished his breakfast.
He ran off again, bumping his plane against some street lanterns and other furniture. I wonder when he will destroy the thing...

Are fish evil?

Mel upset Whotter this morning. She saw him with fish and chips and at first she wondered whether he was British.

Are fish evil?

Melanie Tuxing: What on earth is Whotter eating?
Tsai Cheng: Fish and chips
Tsai Cheng: Since Rachael fed it to him he has nothing else
Melanie Tuxing: He's very British
Tsai Cheng: Is it still popular?
Melanie Tuxing: Have you ever offered him a cup of tea?
Melanie Tuxing: Some tea, Whotter?
Tsai Cheng: Not yet. I won't be surprised
Melanie Tuxing smiles
Whotter: Tea?
Tsai Cheng: Geez. He just repeats the word at first try
Whotter: Tea!
Tsai Cheng: This is no good
Melanie Tuxing: Yes, Whotter - tea!
Tsai Cheng: The strange thing is: his dad is an American furry
Melanie Tuxing: Does he carry a gun?
Whotter shakes his head
Melanie Tuxing: Good
Tsai Cheng: No, unless he hides it in the fish and chips
Melanie Tuxing: Oh, fish and chips are very bad for guns
Melanie Tuxing: Well, fish are very bad for you
Whotter looks at her with big eyes
Melanie Tuxing: Fish are evil, Whotter
Whotter roars
Melanie Tuxing: A large voice for a tiny chap

No whores no fish

No whores no fish

I was walking my circles on the street to stay warm early morning while waiting for a client, when I noticed that Whotter had logged on. He wasn't anywhere near though on my radar, so that got me a bit worried. I sent him a teleport request.

(radar): Whotter entered chat range.
Whotter? Where were you?

Whotter staid still

You know i don't like it when you go off the sim without my permission.
Whotter roars softly

I don't want you to get into trouble. Or someone keep you as his pet, or in some zoo
Fish!
You have fish. Fish and chips, bought from my hard-earned money.
Whore!

I sighed. This was going nowhere.

It pays the bills honey. No whore, no fish!

More fish for Whotter

Lately Whotter has been getting a lot of fish from my colleagues. Not as much from Stephanie as from the others. Some of them have been especially generous to him.

There was Blixa, who bought him an entire basket of fish. The fishbones were lying about all over the place after he had gobbled this up. And then Violet, who now rents one of the shop spaces below my apartment. She took the trouble of finding a nice set of fish for in his mouth on Marketplace, with several textures and sizes possible.

I hope they won't make the little bugger grow fat...
