Visiting the Second Life Book Club

Visting the Second Life Book Club
Whotter insisted on bringing his goldfish to the Book Club.

Yesterday Whotter must have run into a big Second Life presenter and film maker at his Fish & Chips stand, because he returned home with an unusual gift: a tiny pink Cthulhu avatar. He insisted that we'd visit the book club that night.

The Book Club meeting was nice: it was supposed to be  about horror stories, but since the author that was to be here that night couldn't make it, we had a discussion between 3 people on the stage and the audience: about books, 'The Great American Novel' racism and other subjects. Needless to say Whotter, who wanted us to come so badly, was the one that got bored within minutes. I had to get him to sit next to me to stay, somewhat, quiet.

It was a nice evening and I even managed to get some reading done myself: in the book with blank pages I had picked up years ago. I also managed to point the presenter to a nice article, written by an autistic stripper, when the topic went to autism and how people with autism have to learn specifically how to deal with some everyday life situations.

An interview for slescorts

You may remember that I met up with Caroline a number of times inworld, she's a blogger and runs this highly succesful website 'Second Life Adventures'. Her excursions to explore the sex industry in Second Life led her to starting up slescorts.net and a few months ago I was asked if I would be interested to join. Knowing Caroline, I didn't just say 'no' of course.

So today i finally met up with Sleen, who does the castings for SL Escorts. I was supposed to meet up with him 2 months ago, but the whole COVID-19 situation was quite depressing on me, not to mention the effect is has had on the sex trade, even in Second Life. I will blog more about that later...
He sent me an instant message, but since I was still entertaining one of my most loyal regulars, I sent him a quick message back to say to contact me a bit later.
I had cum on my face and on my boobies still when I took his teleport to the SLA Media office and as Sleen greeted me he said he felt sorry he hadn't insisted on a casting. Someone with my experience didn't need a casting, he had said previously.
Later on, as we talked about the website, the office and it's facilities, his male colleague came in. I hinted at the possibility of a casting with the 3 of us, but I was either too subtle, or they were too polite. Well... they make promotion films too, I heard, so I am sure they will get another sticky shot at that.

Then Sleen showed me around the building, where there were some bedroom and also a bathroom, a kitchen and other facilities where sex could be had. And a big presentation room, but it's not for the kind of presentations I am usually asked for.
The office looked inspiring too, but I think I will now first select some photos for their website and make a nice text for my profile there.
I may even consider blogging for them, I will think about that.

In a cage

In a cage

So, the little dog that I mentioned before was asking for attention. Fortunately I did get a dog crate and guess what? It got another little bugger off my back for a while as well!

Showing off for the noob

I didn't think he looked that bad (yeah really, noobs aren't what they used to be, they look too good nowadays...) but the other girls did and they were showing him all sorts of avatars and outfits. So I took out my sheep avatar once again too.

Showing off for the noob

This is also how I found back Fräulein. The siamese cat had been hiding deep in some alley of my inventory. She was probably scared of Whotter.
I am not sure the noob was really helped with all the advice. His noob behaviour manifested itself mostly in that he kept referring to Second Life as a 'game'. I am not going into that discussion here, but it is rather typical. He did play guitar though, that was cool.

Palm trees, coconuts and otters?

There are many ways a creative whore can make money. That was shown again last weekend by two of the girls at Street Whores.

Palm trees, coconuts and otters?

A regular visitor who likes to play guessing games and tips generously in the process had mentioned his palm trees before, so before he was expected to appear for his weekly visit, a large coconut palm was bought by them and erected in the square. Every minute or so a coconut would fall from it.

Of course it didn't take long before an otter fell from the tree as well. I scolded him for climbing the other's posessions but Whotter didn't pay much attention to me. He liked the coconuts too much himself...

The Second Life Hat challenge

I read a login message that mentioned the 'Second Life Hat challenge'. It was simply a call to residents to upload a picture of themselves in which they were wearing a hat. So yes, why not?

Here is mine:

Ski Jumping in Second Life

After all these years you think you have seen and done everything in Second Life. Of course that's not true: new places and activities are being invented all the time. One thing that has been around snice 2010 and which I never tried was ski jumping.

Yesterday we had a girls' night out, with the management team of Street Whores and we went to the Chamonix regions to ski jump. The Chamonix area is attached to the oldest mainland in SL, Sansara.

Ski Jumping in Second Life

When we arrived we noticed a familiar name on the board already: Whotter...

Ski Jumping in Second Life

Apparently the little rascal had decided to join in with the 'big league'. His score was pretty impressive too, so he was the favourite at the start.
He flaunted hs first few attempts though, biting... well not dust... snow. That made him quite grumpy, so we heard a lot of cursng and bad words directed at us during the event.

Falling on our backs in the snow was a usual outcome for the jumps. Something tells me that this sport is not for those who haven't practiced. In the end Whotter got himself a second place, which made him happy enough. I will gve the complete results here:
