A hooker on the net

One of the things a girl working as an escort, or if you prefer, prostitute, hooker etc. in Second Life will run into are advertisement boards. These boards can be rented at many places in Secondlife. Having one at a busy club or a wellknown redlight district can make sense. The downside for many new girls in the job is: these boards can be notoriously hard to configure.

Being one of the experienced persons around, I sometimes get requests to help with the ad signs. I used to kind of like to get the new girls started out, but at some point it gets annoying. The reason is simple: once you start helping people out with these things, others will flock to you as well with their little tech problems. When they're done with the advertisement signs, the next thing will be the teleporter to the sex rooms and after that they will find something new.

The simple truth, of course is, I don't really know so much more about these items. I'm just a simple girl trying to make a living by spreading her legs. When I learnt to use a teleporter, an advertisement sign etc. I simply did so by reading the manual and doing exactly what it told me. This is also what I do when someone asks me for help. Do they really think I know everything? I simply look it up again.
