Rachael Ezvalt

Today I received sad news: Rachael Ezvalt, whom I have known for many years. Possibly back from 2010 when I first walked the streets at Street Whores, is no longer with us.
Rachael had not logged in for the past 3 weeks and her Second Life partner, Ayesha, yesterday got confirmation that she had passed away, little over a week ago. Jess, her friend at co-worker at X-Sisters mentioned this in her blog.

Rachael was a force of nature and everyone who met her probably remembers her: not just because of her avatar, but also because of the way she communicated. Her humour and her practical jokes were always around.

 Rachael one day told us all to wear boxes over our heads and thus the 'Box Whores' were born...

I am a bit at a loss for words, so I will just try to embed a song from her SoundCloud. Rachael loved to DJ and her techno was well-known whereever she went. Everytime there is a party I still request 'Little Fish', by Leftfield, a song I know thanks to her, for my son Whotter.

Spring Time party at Street Whores

Thursday we had a party at Street Whores - Town square. The theme was 'Spring Time'. It was quite crowded and good fun. I liked the music of DJ's Suzi and Rachael, who spent much of the time teasing each other with the quality of the other's DJ set.
No complaints there, neither to the choice of dress of our poor street whores, who got all of their shiny spring outfits out of cupboards to show off. There were some lucky guys around as well, if I recall. I saw the odd couple walk away into one of the houses at times.

It's definitely a recommendation for me to visit more parties at my workplace. It makes for a nice 2 hours of fun and good music.
