The summer slump has started

The Urban Dictionary says about the 'summer slump':

A period during summer in which a person performs inefficiently due to the excessive amount of free time on their hands.

Causes: Lack of school or a job, absence of friends, insufficient funds, and/or lack of transportation.

For me it is: lack of business. All good, hardworking husbands and boyfriends are on vacation with partner and kids. And, God* forbid, they may even have sex with their wives. The poor things. Meanwhile we are bored to bits here. Even the bar is empty now.

So this is how Chrissy and I walked into the bar at the opposite side of the street. Well... guess. No one there either of course. So we amused ourselves for a few minutes and then walked back into Bar No.5 for a cup of coffee and something to smoke.

August really is the worst. I should go on vacation too.

But then, someone should go on vacation to here, right? As this photo by Chrissy shows, it does get pretty hot here, even in August.

 

* I am not even religious, but I guess this is an expression.

From bar to brothel

 "A fucking great sunday, " Fiver said and she was right.

The photo that barmaid Candy got me said it all. But I had just been missing out on the fun, arriving late to the scene. No cock and most important, no cash for this virtual whore.

Fiver's little bar has been doing exceptionally well. She sells beer and whisky there and has a bunch of sex furniture. The idea was just for the girls to hang out there though, originally. The men could buy them beers, after which the empty bottles can be recycled for a few Linden Dollars in the alley at the back. Now it is just packed with whores and clients on some days and they all seem to do very well.

As long as they arrive in time. I didn't...

A whore's daytrip to Amsterdam

I took a trip to Amsterdam, to see what it'd be like to work there.

I started off by walking into a small bar in the red light district. Somehow I felt that they'd be able to get me on my way there. And I was right: the lady behind the counter said 'she knew someone'. Within a very short time she had me setup in my own little workplace along one of the canals.

So, there I was, on my own in one of the famous red windows. That was all there was to it as well. The region was pretty busy, but the only people I saw were either away from keyboard or very anti-social. So after a while I left again. It was time to get something to eat anyways.

The snackbar didn't look too appetizing though. There was something about the guy standing behind the counter that told me the local cuisine in Amsterdam would not be too good. I decided to just leave the city with the first train available.

Dancing on the bar

Every now and then you can find me at Old Lar's, an extremely popular bar in Secondlife. I'll be dancing on top of the bar there. I was there today as well. I got a bit hot, so I took off my panties. You'll have to imagine that though, as you can't see it on this photo. ;-)
