There are so many things that I could tell right now, but I find it hard to just mention everything, so this morning I sat down with Chrissy and Whotter and we had a coffee. Well... Whotter tried to extract fish from us.

But let me try:

I have a new place at Street Whores now, after the move from Wirtz to Hoogenach region. It's at Bordello Alley, where the owners have added one extra house for me. It's one of those little changes that have been made in the new Street Whores. I like that it's in a region of it's own now.

Whotter has a new fish and chips stall now. He likes it. Now he pays no rent and he can just get his fish supply from the trashcan (The fountain that was in the old place has been emptied by him and the monkeys ages ago.)

I mentioned I didn't know where to start. Well... this is one of the reasons: you know I occasionally engage in strange roleplays. In one of these roleplays I was fucked by an elf wearing a magic strapon. What was the magic, you would wonder? Well, this: I got pregnant of two horses. And so it came to pass that I went to the hospital at Stepford Village to give birth to Whotter's new sisters, Cassiopeia Lacerta and Lacerta Cassiopeia. You can imagine the poor guy's confusion. He fainted.

Oh yes, we gave birth in the dental clinic there. But who cares, this is Second Life.

Good things are balanced with the bad things really. The old Street Whores location was going to have a farewell party on monday September 16. The signs all said 7AM. 7AM San Francisco time is a weird time to have a party, globally speaking. It doesn't match well with people's schedules in the areas of the world where actually someone lives, except for Japan maybe, but that might actually a bit late for the Japanese already. Not that we have many Japanese visitors in our street...
But a bunch of us went out for a dance and Whotter played the recorder: "Theme from Titanic". Everyone agreed that he shouldn't have done that...

That evening DJ Rachael did the set at the actual goodbye party, which I missed. It turned out that this was to be her last party as a host on Street Whores. A few days later I received news that she left. One of the owners leaving is sad news, but it's even sadder as along with Rachael 2 of my other friends left. There has clearly been a big disagreement within the ownership. Even as one of the managers of the place, I am not sure what happened.
This is also one of the things I spoke about with Chrissy this morning, over coffee, while Whotter kept begging for fish. I thought he sold fish? Do you get it?

A week after there was an opening party, which was said to have been successful as well. Suzi DJ'ed there. Meanwhile I learnt that Rachael has been recruited by the owner of a new, competing place. Chrissy and a few of the other girls are renters there too now.

It's all quite confusing. I am not sure if I should either be sad or happy about all of this.

Saying goodbye to my old house

I am not sure if I can look it up in my blog, or maybe in old pictures, but I must have lived in this house at Street Whores since at least 2013, maybe even 2012 or '11. That is 6 or 7 years, a long time to live in a house in Second Life. So I will surely miss it.

I decided to make a few photo's of the place...

I've lived here for 6 or 7 years, now it's time to move.

Street Whores is moving - Part 2

The new region for Street Whores, whose location I will reveal later, looks very much like the old one, but the shopping area will be redesigned. The current shopping square has not been functioning for a long time now and it was definitely due for an overhaul.
Because of this, my old corner house, 3 stories big and revised several times over the years I have been living in it, will not be there anymore either. That's the sad part of the story. The good part is: I will now be a neighbour of whores like Mel and Kath, the long-time renters and veterans of the alley. Add me to this slippery row of tenants and you will know where to look next time you visit Street Whores.

There's a lot of work to be done to my new house still and for at least the coming week my old house will still be around, but the bed is already there. So everything should be set for action.

Meanwhile, Whotter is very active too. He is a bit sad that he will have to give up his current shop space for his fish and chips restaurant, but he's showing himself the little entrepreneur too in the process. I am not sure what he plans to do with his fish and chips business, but here you see him chat up Agua, thinking that there might be some space left in the moving truck that carries her things.

Pro Tip 10: Fay: don't be fucking pushy with guys

Would you take advice from a girl who has that much cash stashed away in her cleavage? Well... I would, so I asked Fay Fire for a Pro Tip.

Tsai Cheng: If nothing comes back, stay put.
Fay Fire (fayna): And yes, it is like shopping: nothing bothers more a guy in a shop that getting "help" he didn't ask in first place.
Tsai Cheng: Hmm.
Fay Fire (fayna): Some might want you being super pushy... and that is fine, and you should be pushy with those... but many use that method as default.. and law of chances says it is a bááááád idea.

Street Whores is moving

 The other night I received a notecard from one of the owners of Street Whores, Elvira. It mentioned that great things were about to happen. Let me copy-paste the text here:

Whotter came to me somewhat concerned after he saw the signs in the street. Apparently he can read them and he is afraid his fish will be rotten after a long trip in a moving van. I don't understand his concerns really, it's not like the fish of his restaurant was fresh in the first place...

The hottest window in town
